I love ghost stories. Tell me stuff you heard about from your friend's friend's friend or experienced yourself in Kuching. Let's talk about haunted houses and stuff. :bad:

I heard once that every hotel always has that one room they don't rent out to people. I keep forgetting to check this with my hotel friends.

Someone jokingly told me that if I'm ever at Batang Ai Hilton, don't piss off the reception or they may give me that "special" room. You'll probably wake up in the middle of the night when a procession walks through it!

Same here.

I'm too sleepy right now to think of any ghost stories, I'll post them later.

We had a ghost story thread before, I posted a fairly long post. I'll dig it up soon.

Ghost? not actual one. but i seen people being possed by ghost. I grew up watching those stuff. One of my relative is a taoist. He helps to ward off those dirty thing out of people. :D

When i was the age of around 13 i remeber there was once a case where a girl of a family suddenly acts very very strangely. She stayed in the room, doesn't eat and doesn't go out of the room. when daylight, she shuts all windows and light. It all happend all of a sudden. the girl kept on crying and weeping out of no reason. The parents called for help. One of the visitors droped by to take a look at her and immediatly he could tell that girl got possesed.

So she was brought to my relative's house. There she was forced to sit down near the chinese altar displaying 15 other small statue chinese gods. The taoist consistant talked to "her" (not the victim, the one who possesed the victim). She had a tissues in her hand, weeping. The taoist talked to "her" but she just wouldn't listen. Her story was kinda sad. A love story that didn't go right. She suicide herself. In the end, the taoist was forced to perform holy ritual on her. the process was rather tedious and i am out of words on how to describe those stuff in english. The "thing" was rather stubborn and didn't want to leave. After a while, it just left the body and the girl collapse.

Heh. believe it or not.
