Star Cineplex Kuching will begin its renovation in the middle of this month (May). This renovation will includes 8th Floor which is currently the archery centre. The new Star Cineplex will includes 8th and 9th Floor. There will be two floor with 10 screens (halls) for Star Cineplex Kuching. I will try to upload up the artist impression for this new Star Cineplex and i hope all of you can give me some opinion. I need to get approval before i upload the pics.

The purpose of writing this post is to ask for everyone's opinion regarding the new renovation. What do you think Star Cineplex Kuching should be more focus in? What should they improved and what should they put in their list during the renovation?

I hope all of you can give your opinion here and i will try to full fill if possible. Opinions and complains from the customers are highly appreciated.

- Star cineplex should compensate the audience in anyway whenever there are interruptions during the movie.

(I watched 3 hours movie twice there and there were 15-30mins interruptions where I missed out some part)

Secondly, ask the person who is playing the movie in the control room to be quiet and stop playing music over the phone. I was sitting in the backrow that time and I was annoyed.

Thirdly, improve the speakers please. turning on loud speaker volumes doesn't justify sound quality.

Webbie, thanks a lot for all the information. All of the cause is from the projector room. I will hold a meeting with the projectionist manager and try to solve all the issue once and for all.

Regarding the movie interruption, we are trying our very best to minimize the percentage as some of the projector parts broke down suddenly during playtime. Summer is just around the corner and there are many blockbuster movies coming up the stage. I hope there won't be any break down during this summer holiday.

On the compensation side, we definitely compensate if there is any movie interruption, sometimes the manager in charge won't know because they didn't get any complain from the customer or projectionist itself (will look into this). Normally we would issue a complimentary ticket to you. That complimentary ticket can be used on any movies, any time and any day.

I'm really glad to know that Star Cineplex Kuching is going to be renovated and make their improvement in terms of service and facilities.

Although asking customer about their opinion is one of the best way to improve management service. I might still suggest the management of Star Cineplex to look into the service and facilities provided by the other Cineplex Giant, such as TGV, GSC and Cathay.

Comparing Star Cineplex with the other business competitors for sure will improve and awaken the current management of Star Cineplex. Besides, i hope Star Cineplex can provide BETTER service and facilities than those cineplex that i'd jus mention, if you are to move a step to compete in Kuching Cineplex Business. As rumours are saying that GSC will be entering Kuching very very soon~~!!!

I believe more and more people will leave their comment and opinion in this thread. Hopefully, all the posted opinion will be noted and be response by the management.
