Ruffedge, Vince, Radhi OAG, Camelia and Dayang Nurfaizah will be there on this event. Our local band, Evenstarr will also make their first appearance on stage which will be broadcast on the TV3.
Starstruck fans will have a great time rubbing shoulders with their favourite TV hosts and artistes at the two mini afternoon and two evening concerts planned. The more lucky ones would even find themselves on TV as some of the programmes like Melodi and Teen Magazine Remaja will be televised live from there.
Among the celebrities taking part are Aznil Nawawi (winner of Berita Harian's Anugerah Bintang's Most Popular Host award), rock icon Ella, self-styled queen of Irama Malaysia Noraniza Idris, Nona's Azizah Ariffin, Misteri Nusantara's Zainal Ariffin, 999 anchorwoman Zakia Anas and Majalah Tiga's Norzie Pak Wan Chik.
TV3's aim in taking Karnival Sure Heboh to Kuching was to strengthen viewers' loyalty, bring them closer to their programmes and repay them for their support all these years, said TV3 brand management group general manager Anthony Firdauz Bujang.
The mini concerts will begin at 4pm and the evening concerts at 9pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-hour closing concert on Sunday night will be televised live and emceed by Azil. The artistes featured are Ning Baizura, Camelia, Ruffedge, Waheeda, Dayang Nurfaezah and Radhi of OAG. A dance troupe from Sarawak Cultural Village will also contribute an item.
TV3's entertainment magazine Melodi (Sunday, 12.30pm) hosted by Aznil, and Teen magazine Remaja (Saturday, 1pm) hosted by Aidid Marcello, will also be televised live from the carnival.
